We cordially invite you to the opening of the group exhibition “End of Land“ on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 6 pm in B-Part Exhibition. As part of the annual cooperation with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, works by this year's scholarship holders of the KAS funding program - Saskia Groneberg, Lucia Kempkes, Aline Schwibbe and Marie Lynn Speckert - will be on display. The exhibition was curated by Dr. Hans-Jörg Clement, Head of Culture at the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. In their works, the artists approach the idea of artificial nature in different ways, both aesthetically and in terms of content. The title of the exhibition - “End of Land“ - already indicates that the idea of longing for a still untouched land is a desperate one. The artists will be present at the opening.
The B-Part Exhibition space accompanies the future development of the Urbane Mitte Am Gleisdreieck with artistic autonomy and thus at the same time enters into a dialogue with the overarching themes of the overall project - forms of New Work, Co-working, Culture and Sport - and creates synergies between artistic, cultural and social approaches. The artistic director of the B-Part Exhibition is Rüdiger Lange (loop - raum für aktuelle kunst).
